IzzoCam Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 17, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the IzzoCam mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

IzzoCam is a live pet camera streaming application that allows users to:

Create and broadcast live video streams of their pets from multiple sources (iPhone camera, Wyze cameras, OBS/RTMP, or web browser)
Manage multiple cams with team-based access (owner, admin, viewer roles)
Watch live streams with Picture-in-Picture support
Receive AI-generated commentary about pet activities
Share cam access via invite links
Receive push notifications for stream activity, commentary, and daily digests

3. Account Registration

To use IzzoCam, you must:

Sign in using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In
Be at least 13 years of age
Provide accurate information during registration
Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, including any cams you create and third-party camera credentials you provide.

4. User Content and Conduct

When using IzzoCam, you agree to:

Only stream content you have the right to broadcast
Not stream any illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
Only stream pets and related pet-care activities
Not use the service for surveillance of people without their consent
Not use the service for any unlawful purpose
Respect other users and their content
Not attempt to interfere with the proper operation of the service
Not share invite links publicly or with unauthorized parties without the cam owner's consent

        Important: IzzoCam is designed for pet camera streaming only. Streaming content that is not related to pets, or content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable, is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
    

5. Third-Party Camera Integration

IzzoCam supports integration with third-party camera services, including Wyze cameras. When you connect a third-party camera:

You must own or have authorized access to the camera
Your third-party credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with Google Cloud KMS
Credentials are decrypted only during active streaming sessions
You can disconnect and permanently delete stored credentials at any time
We are not responsible for any issues with the third-party camera service itself

Your use of third-party camera services is also subject to those services' own terms and conditions.

6. Intellectual Property

The IzzoCam app, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by SandStudioSF and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the app
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
Use the app's branding without permission

7. AI-Generated Content

IzzoCam uses multiple artificial intelligence services to generate commentary about pet activities. You understand that:

AI commentary is generated automatically and may not always be accurate
The AI observes visual patterns and creates entertaining narratives
AI-generated content is provided for entertainment purposes only
We do not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated commentary
Video frames sent to AI providers contain only images — no personal information is included
AI providers may process images according to their own data handling policies

8. Privacy

Your use of IzzoCam is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services

IzzoCam relies on the following third-party services to operate:

Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, push notifications
LiveKit: Real-time video streaming infrastructure
OpenAI: AI commentary generation (GPT-4o)
Google AI: Scene analysis (Gemini)
Anthropic: Fallback AI commentary (Claude)
PostHog: Product analytics and usage insights
Wyze: Third-party camera integration (optional)
Apple / Google: Authentication providers

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

10. Cam Visibility and Access

By default, all cams are private and accessible only via invite links. If you choose to list your cam publicly:

Your cam name, description, and live status become visible to other users
Other users may request to join your cam
You retain full control over who is granted access
You can make your cam private again at any time

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Defects will be corrected
The service is free of viruses or harmful components
The results from using the service will meet your requirements
AI-generated commentary will be accurate, appropriate, or timely
Third-party camera integrations will function without interruption

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IZZOCAM, SANDSTUDIOSF, AND ITS DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service
Any content or conduct of third parties on the service
Issues arising from third-party camera integrations (e.g., Wyze outages)

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IzzoCam, SandStudioSF, and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Any content you stream through the App
Unauthorized use of third-party camera credentials you provide

14. Account Termination and Deletion

We may terminate or suspend your access to IzzoCam at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

Violation of these Terms
Streaming inappropriate or prohibited content
Engaging in harmful or abusive behavior

You may delete your account at any time directly within the app (Profile → Delete Account). Upon deletion:

All your personal data is removed within 30 days
Any cams you own are deactivated
Stored third-party credentials are permanently destroyed
Commentary and analytics data associated with your account are purged

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through:

In-app notifications
Updates to the "Effective Date" at the top of this page

Your continued use of IzzoCam after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
